So the date got moved back to the 14th, Valentines day, heres the thing, I have been planning a big thing on valentines day to propose to my long time girlfriend of 3 years, i know i know cliche' but heres the thing, she is all excited about going on the 14th now because before hand we both agreed that we wouldnt do anything for each other on valentines, now i cant tell her that we wont go because she will be suspicous, but then I got thinking, maybe I can propose to her at the concert, kinda like people do at like baseball and basketball games, She loves Social D, and it would be even better then what i had planned, but now how do i go about that? anyone have ANY suggestions or CONNECTIONS?? please help, thanx

scroll down to the topic "christmas gift". Jason727's uncle is Social Distortion's organ player. Maybe he can make a phone call and talk to him. Just a suggestion.

Personally, I wouldn't propose in such a public way that she/we become the center of all eyes. But to each their own. Sounds like you're to hooked on the 14th. Just let it go and pick another date ... perhaps another special date. Later you can tell her how you had this big thing planned for the 14th and debated what to do ... she just might enjoy the fact that you spent so much time picking the day and situation.

If you can pass for 10 or 11 years old, you could just wait for the Prison Bound "Old School/New School" speech and work your way onstage.

I tried to propose the same way a year ago, I got all the way to talking to management and they said that they couldn't because they get too many of those request. "Its too hard to say yes to some and no to others" was the offical responce.

Some guy proposed to his gal when I saw them at the Ice Garden in Belle Vernon, PA... October 2004, I believe. She did say yes and Mike said something to the effect of "that guy's got more balls than I..."
The only thing that could have made it better was if immediately after that they had played "Ball and Chain"...
